Gujarat Trip - Part 7
And finally, the last photograph from Jamnagar.
He was probably one of the customers at the shops of the Wellingdon Crescent in Jamnagar. Just as the person in one of my previous posts — Smoked Off Face at the Willingdon Crescent in Jamnagar, he too quite calmly allowed me to take his photograph, and posed quite stylishly.
What made me take his snap? Nothing different than what you are thinking — his red dyed hair, not just the head, but beard and eyebrows too!

It is always refreshing to see people with so much confidence. He looks happy. Your blog always brings a smile to my face. Namaste, friend.
ReplyDeleteFabyness, to get hair this red, it must be bleached first to remove all color and make the hair shaft porous enough. That was how it was many years ago anyway, it is possible that modern science has produced a better way now. Good luck.
Great images...
ReplyDeleteBest wishes from Buenos Aires...

ReplyDeletebhavesh to comment on the red haired guy. i most believe that he would be a muslim. muslim men are not allowed to colour their hair black so they use henna to colour their greys. that would probably be the explanation for any orange/red haired men that you come across in these coutries
ReplyDeleteThat's quite an information Ms/Mr Anonymous! :) Thanks so much for your kind comment!!
