Tamhini Ghat Trek is one of the popular treks, hiked mostly in the monsoon season because of the special spiritual+happy+peaceful feeling the views offer. The photos are self-speaking I guess. But if you do visit personally, you will realize what I want to say.

Beautiful Panorama HDR Photo with Spectators, taken on Tamhini Ghat Trek

I have experimented a photography idea here. I have taken panoramas with high dynamic range [HDR]. This was the first time I was doing such photography, the idea of which actually suddenly striked me while taking casual photos. I have taken HDR photos in the past, but not as panoramas. Hope you will like :)

Food Tasting, Review and Photographs of Frisco at Koregaon Park, Pune

"Food Tasting and Photography" are going well hand-in-hand! I was invited at Frisco last week for food tasting, and I must say that I was very impressed by the taste and ambience. Thanks to Shivangi and Carina representing Carpe Diem for inviting me and allowing me to, not only taste and review the food and ambience, but also for such nice photo opportunity.

Regarding food, I will make the first mention of their Verdure Thin Crust Veg. Pizza especially as I had never eaten a thin crust pizza until then, that felt juicy while eating. Five stars to Verdure Thin Crust Veg. Pizza.

Their Blueberry Cheese Cake was "adbhut" as well. It was such a balanced taste I must say!

Although their Hibiscus Iced Tea did not taste Hibiscus, it was still pretty well as a drink. No complaints except for the name-flavor.

The nachos were just perfect. The chef did good by using a larger plate for serving the nachos ensuring that the cheese-on was spread evenly on every bit.

We were served the following…
• Basil Mojito
• Hibiscus Iced Tea
• Ginger Mint Fizz
• Green Wok Salad
• Potato and Leek Soup
• Lime Ice-cream Soda
• Nachos
• Potato Lentigiane
• Thai Sweet Chili Baby Potatoes
• Mac and Cheese Pasta
• Verdure Thin Crust Veg. Pizza
• Brownie with Ice-cream and Chocolate Sauce
• Blueberry Cheese Cake

Some non-vegetarian servings that I did not have…
• Fish and Crisp with Tartar Sauce
• Cornish Chicken Thin-crust Pizza
• Poached Sea Bass
• Sicilian Garlic Chicken

The ambience of the restaurant was well-made. But personally, I found the tiles on the tables disinteresting. Of course, this is my view, and the designer must have kept something in mind before deciding to put tiles on the tables. The entresol lacked height as usually happens with the most. But it had a very nice decor. I liked the color-scheme of the entresol.

The sign-board of the restaurant was quite colorful.

I hope you enjoyed the photographs [more below], and that you will make your visit to Frisco and spend some good time there eating the delicious food and enjoying the ambience. The feel of Koregaon Park adds value. The location of the restaurant is at quite a peaceful space.

Kumbhalgarh — Fort with the second longest wall in the world after the Wall of China

Pillars of a temple or a building at Kumbhalgarh

The fort of Kumbhalgarh has the second longest wall fortification in the world after the number one Wall of China. Kumbhalgarh was ordered to be built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. It was a strategic location in the wilderness of the Aravali Mountain Range. The wall stretches about 36 kilometers in length and is about 8 healthy horses wide. Kumbhalgarh is the birthplace of the great Maharana Pratap. There are many stone-and-brick temples in the premises. The fort was renovated by Maharana Fateh Singh in the 19th century.

Most photographers find overcast weather disinteresting. But I find it interesting. You get very different light in your photos, and that is what helps you create photos with mysterious beauty.

Kumbhalgarh is located at about a 100 kilometers of driving distance from Udaipur, towards north. The roads are good, but it will still take about 2 hours of driving time. If you happen to be at Ranakpur [beautiful Jain temple in the middle of forest], it is only about 50 kilometers of distance that will take 1 hour of driving time.
