I don't know the scientific name of this beautiful flower I found near
Bhimashankar. To be precise, it was near the shores of the Dimbhe dam backwaters.
About 5 feet tall plant was just decorated with these beautiful flowers. Do you know the exact name?

ReplyDeleteExept for the fact that they stick their tongue out they are beautiful! No idea for the name.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and I like the spots inside. I don't know the name, but I must say these are gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteNature in incredible. That flower has been made to have so many ways to lure in a bee or fly or bird and thus become pollinated! I love the little "bit of cloth" hanging down, as if to advertise its nectar with a banner.
ReplyDeleteOver on Our Simple Life, the blog writer is a botantist and I will send her your link! She knows many thousands of plants and might know this one!
