Village Life

Village Life

Poeple in rural parts of India still need vessels to carry water from the source to their homes! Seems they don't have water pipelines!! The above picture was photographed on way to Varandha Ghat expressing Village Life. Hope you enjoy the photo. I'd love to know your comments :)

  13. We tend to take modern conveniences for granted. People in other countrries work so hard for the basics of life.

    This is a wonderful photograph.

  14. The pace of life in the villages is much more normal than in the cities where we zip around everywhere and need everything instantly because we have no time. This is a great photo!

  19. Very poignant photo! Hard to imagine how difficult life is for some people. Water is so important. I thought it was interesting that the water bearers seem to be men. Every other similar photo I recall has shown women carrying water.

    Best wishes!
