Rare Flower

It was the time when I went for an environmental task last year on Purandar Fort. I'm yet to see the results I'm expecting this December, not just at Purandar fort, but at some more locations. Well, that's a different topic. The below photo relates to a rare sight of a rare flower. I'm not sure what its general and scientific names are. But for sure, it was one that I had not seen before. Do you identify this rare flower? Please let me know.

And yes, as usual, I'm expecting your comments on the photo :)

  1. Hello Bhavesh - I'm just home this afternoon after four days hospitalization. Still on antibiotics for ten days, a special, very restrictive diet for a month to insure my colon rests! I was certainly lonely for the blogging community!

Your flower is interesting and I'm not sure what it is. At first, I thought it was a milkweed but, on looking further, it doesn't look so.
