Vijay Stambh
Vijay Stambh [विजय स्तंभ] means Victory Tower. It is a symbol. Vijay Stambh was constructed on the order of King Rana Kumbha between 1442 and 1449. It is a 9 storied tower reaching a height of 39.19 meters. Vijay Stambh is really a wonder. Imagine something from such a past in time still standing straight and still as awe-inspiring as the time of its construction, in fact may be more now. Salute to the skillful construction planners and the strength of the labour.
Seeing Vijay Stambh in person is an out-of-the-world feeling. Imagining what must have taken to build such a masterpiece takes you back in time hundreds of years. Here are the 13 most spectacular views of Vijay Stambh from different surrounding locations that I could photograph from.
