Civic Square in Wellington [New Zealand] is such a beautiful place to sit for hours and see people come and go, and to feel the cool breeze from the sea. Also, it is a bit away from the crowd [you won’t find crowd in New Zealand anyway actually ☺]. The Civic Square has a beautiful silver fern ball hanging overhead. It feels as if it is floating in the air! It’s just a beautiful sight. I am posting some photos here, and also a location map below. Hope you all like :)

About a month ago I took my teen daughter down to Wellington for about 4 days, and we stayed quite close to Civic plaza. I know that ball too.

DeleteAh, so lovely a sight....but, New Zealand is filled with beautiful sights. It is such a magnificent country, so much of it unspoiled, friendly people, nice wines, interesting culture, dance, so much beauty everywhere. Lucky you to have spent so much time there.
