Panshet Dam

Panshet dam

Panshet dam is one of the major fresh water reserves of Pune city. And it's just beautiful all around except that a lot of forest is gone underneath the water several decades ago. It's a scenic feast with the feeling of nature's gigantism at some view points. Enjoy the photos…

Oriental Garden Lizard [Calotes versicolor]

Oriental Garden Lizard [Calotes versicolor]

On our way from Ranakpur to Udaipur, we took a lunch break at Sukh Sagar Hotel. It was a small highway-side setup serving snacks and meals. The surroundings were green with the arrival of monsoon. As rain had paused, we decided to sit out. While enjoying the local food in the cool breezes of monsoon’s afternoon, we spotted an Oriental Garden Lizard [Scientific name: Calotes versicolor]. It was so beautiful and slender! Thankfully, it allowed me to close-in for an up-close photograph! How’s it?
