At the sunset time in Matheran, I was able to photograph this amazing thing. Look closely, the Moon and the Sun are both showing their beauty and uniqueness in one scene. For those who wish to enjoy this photograph in detail, please scroll down; I have put in a larger image, which you can keep on scrolling until you reach the sun :)
Matheran is a very beautiful place. Me and my wife were there for 2 days last month. We knew that the sunset point is a beautiful place and you get to see one of the most beautiful sunsets on the planet, standing 800 meters (2625 feet) above the sea level with giant mountains all around. We reached there just 10 minutes before the sunset time. We were not just lucky to see that sunset, but luckier because we were able to see the moon with sunset. ReplyDeleteWow this is the longest photo on the blog I have seen, nice that you were able to caputure it. You know I have once seen on the horizon, one side was sun and 180 degrees later there was a moon. And how do you take a picture of that, lol? Anna :)

And after all blogmates -- as you say have to coexist...But unfortunately seems like all class mates cannot be blogmates.

ReplyDeleteThe original photograph that I have with me (much larger than the one I have posted) can be printed 42 inches (106 centimeters) high with acceptable resolution (200 DPI). If needs to be printed wither better sharpness (300 DPI), it can be printed as high as 28 inches (71 centimeters).

The situation given by you can be captured in 2 ways…
• using a fish-eye lens
• using panoramic photography
