Rajasthan is an amazing place, with amazing beauty. There are many good locations to see. One of those is Jaisalmer. Everything wall and every brick is yellow there! And on sale, are these colorful puppets. I sent a print of the first photo below, to the person whose puppet shop this was. He must be happy; I've not received his reply yet.
It is very interesting.

Oh these brought back so many memories for me! I remember seeing the puppets in Jaisalmer - in the shop next to the one where we spent about 4 hours haggling for a silk painting of an Indian wedding party, which I still have and still love!
ReplyDeleteI ran out of energy by the time I'd done and couldn't face more haggling for a puppet or I would have bought one!
Good times!

ReplyDeleteIt won’t be wrong to say that Rajasthan is one of the most tradition and culture rich states, being to Rajasthan will be an unforgettable experience.
ReplyDeleteRajasthan is also known for its delicacies like dal baati churma (which is unexplainable in words so you have to taste them to understand the real taste)
@ Anonymous: I highly appreciate your contribution here.
