Rich heritage, not centuries but millenniums of history, and uncountable things to explain Pune. One of those important icons is the lord who bears the heavily valuable things shown in the photographs below. Guess who's that. I guess my Indian friends will find it out easily being nearby. But my friends from overseas will have a tough time. Don't worry at all friends; my next post will reveal the secret :) Until then, enjoy the gold, ruby, emerald, sapphire, pearls, etc. common for the almighty; and not so valuable for him/her/it.
Is it Lord Shiva Bhavesh or am I barking up the wrong tree.
ReplyDeleteI think that Abbot is right, but I'm not sure! The jewellery is impressive, Bhavesh!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images of all those exquisite details. Could it be Ganesha?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, intricate jewels and settings. I can't guess the lord who wore it all. I'll have to wait for your next entry.
ReplyDeleteIt is very familiar... but I don't know the Indian lords. I am sorry... lovely shots, Bhavesh! So define.
ReplyDeleteVERY impressive Bhavesh.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovel showing of the jewels. I love pretty jewelry so I really enjoyed seeing these. Will watch for the next chapter. I have been out of town, but want to thank you very much for the special award for my blog. That is so neat and I truly appreciate your thinking of me. May all your days be filled with blessings.
ReplyDeleteOooohhh...I am totally enamored with the jewels! So incredibly beautiful although I have no clue who the lucky wearer is!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting and the colors are fabulous but it takes me too long to come on your blog. You already gave me the explanation but it's the only blog which does that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reward the other day!
Oh this is just fantastic...lovely golden hues...looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI still wonder Thérèse :) I see you're using Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP [realized on feedjit]. Maybe, you have less RAM and a low-speed processor!?
