Most of you must have heard what happened on the west coast of India. Cyclone Phyan made much damage actually. Yesterday, my city — Pune, more than 100 kms from the nearest coast, lost more than 150 trees! Rivers flooded like monsoon!! The most comic tragedy, however, happened with me :)
• No electricity
• All the 3 mobile phones at home had their batteries drained
• The landline was not working
• No water supply, don't know for what silly reason
• Internet connection was down
• The height is that when I went to photograph the event, the camera battery too was at the bottom level! Luckily, it didn't drain completely.
Below is a picture that my camera took for me yesterday. I'm not satisfied covering the phenomenon however.
Dear Bhavesh,
ReplyDeleteLament for the event in his city.Even so, the photo was good.
Hugs
Gosh! your place was flooded? :s
ReplyDeleteHope everyone is ok.
Thanks to both of you for your concern.
ReplyDeleteNo ladyviral, it's not my place. But yes, the river levels were quite high.
These floods are terrible and ruthless, take care of you Bhavesh.
ReplyDeleteEven so the picture is successful.
That was awful. Hope you'll be okay.
ReplyDeleteBhavesh I thought of when I heard of the srtorm. Mother nature can be way to violent at times. I am just glad you are safe.
ReplyDeleteWe are safe here.
ReplyDeleteThe fact is that I like it when mother nature shows its fury.
A good excuse to have spare batteries. I hope the damage is minimal from this storm. be safe.
ReplyDeleteOh my... Bad floods... Hope it drains soon and life gets back to normal..

Perhaps by this time you're back up and running...I hate these terrible acts of nature...we've been fortunate this year so far in that we've had no hurricanes.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes!
That is a powerful image, be safe Bhavesh!
ReplyDeleteBhavesh, try to get your hands on a hand-cranked recharger! I have one for one of our cell phones. You really had a run of very bad luck! Rain wasn't the only thing falling, battery levels were, too! But your picture is very exciting, and scary. Raging water is very frightening. Please be careful!
ReplyDeleteMust have been quite a scary experience!
ReplyDeleteTake care friend.
it is very sad:(
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!! Wow! Such a powerful picture...I'm so glad you're safe Bhavesh!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a scary amount of water right next to a building. I hope the building wasn't flooded inside.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had no services for awhile. I hope everything is more or less back to normal now.
sending you our loving concern.
ReplyDeleteNamaste
& Aloha, Friend!

I am so sorry about this flood – I know how terrible and upsetting that can be, and I am also sorry for the back luck with your equipment, but you did get a good picture.
