  9. I have, when he posted about this particular legend in a post that he did several months ago, but he must not have seen my query. I was curious as to whether the oil might have been sandalwood, since it has such a powerful effect on the limbic region of the brain--the center of emotions.

  10. Ya maybe it was made from sandalwood as you explained. But I have a strong feeling that it must be made out of a special ayurvedic jadibuti [आयुर्वेदीय जडीबुटी] from Indian Forests. Of course, sandalwood is one of them :)
