What's the gold price now? Today's local newspaper in my city — Pune shows 24 carat gold price as Rs. 18,900/- [Eighteen thousand nine hundred]. I clearly remember that just 2½ years back it was about Rs. 9,500/- [Nine thousand five hundred]. So what is the return on investment? It's 200%. It clearly surpasses any other investment option.
