I'm not sure about the species of this bird. Is it a falcon? We spotted it flying high above the tops of Sinhgadh. The photo is deliberately kept vertically long cropped. It has been a long time I have posted such kind of a photo. See Long-tailed Shrike for example.
What a beautiful bird of prey. He or she is so intent upon finding a tidbit to eat...we all must eat...
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice shot, falcon or not the bird is nice.
ReplyDeleteHow great is this, Bhavesh...I've just been trying to get a bird in flight. None of mine can even compare!
ReplyDelete@ Holly: I am also feeling hungry :)
ReplyDelete@ MTA: Yes, it was beautiful :)
@ RNSANE: It's very easy with an SLR and a good telephoto lens :) I hope I will buy a longer telephoto lens soon :)
He's beautiful. Magical. Majestic. I'm with RNSANE - can't catch a moving bird to save my life - mostly because I have a little point-n-shoot. Oh well, I'll just enjoy YOURS more!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful creature indeed! A great photo.
ReplyDeleteO to hang on the sky with such power!
ReplyDelete@ Clytie: Yes, you and RNSANE tally :) But it's really not difficult, believe me!
ReplyDelete@ Aripi De Fluture: I'm glad you liked it :)
@ Cheryl: Thank you :)
@ Joy: It's a different feeling! :)
Beautiful capture! It's tough to catch a bird in flight, especially a quick-moving falcon!
ReplyDelete@ Janie: It was a wonder that this bird was super-still concentrating on a prey!
ReplyDeleteWhat a striking and beautiful bird! Nice capture, Bhavesh.
