Birds are just amazing, aren't they? The first things that my mind thinks when I see a bird, is a dream to fly, to see the world from a bird's perspective, to feel the freedom a bird has while flying.
The location of the photograph is the same one mentioned in my previous post on a
dragonfly.
absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhen I see a bird all I can think of is "What are they chirping about?" Be nice to understand animals :P.

ReplyDeleteMaybe ladyviral, they're chirping about the thing you mentioned — be nice with them, understand them. They're so beautiful and innocent!

Great picture, I like how his feet grasp the delicate plant stem.
ReplyDeleteEvery day is a Happy day with little birds.
ReplyDeleteI often dream of flying! It is one of my favorites to soar through the air!
ReplyDeleteI like how majestic he looks. I know you will miss my show this weekend, but if you ever make it to North Carolina I will give you a special tour.
ReplyDeleteThe bird is looking very gorgeous and beautiful. You have taken wonderful shot and it seems as if the bird has given right pose. Even I also feel the same whenever I see the birds.
ReplyDeleteExcellent photographic skills.Captured at a very serene moment.Seems like you share a telepathy with the bird and you said "cheese n freeze"and the bird just did that.I checked out your wife's blog. It's amazing! You are a very talented couple! You remind me of my friend Hari who was a nature photographer who was so talented but he is no more now.Was killed in a train accident along with his equally talented wife Roshni in hyderabad.Just memories shared with you!
ReplyDeleteYes that's true...
ReplyDeleteThis one is particularly nice among foliages.
How do you do that? Rarely can I get a good photo of any bird. This is very nice. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOh my, a shrike!
ReplyDeleteWe also call the "the butcher birds," because they are very fierce and hang up their prey!
A very famous science fiction story uses a creature called "the Shrike" to strike fear in readers' hearts. Look at that eye and beak -- this is no little songbird...this is a bird of prey.
You're right, birds are amazing, and the one here is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely picture of the bird. How far away from the bird were you when you took the picture?
ReplyDeleteIs truly a joy for the eyes: beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful picture and so clear. Thank you for coming by,.

Hey Léia, Thanks for expressing about the header layout. It took me a lot of time to prepare it. Actually, it has evolved slowly.
ReplyDeleteI'll surely contact you Kitty, whenever I visit North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteSorry Viji. It's sad to know about Hari and Roshni. Sometimes we don't understand reasons behind many unacceptable things happening.
ReplyDeleteThanks for appreciating my wife's skills. She's just wonderful!
The little bird is actually posing to be clicked, great shot Bhavesh!!

ReplyDeleteHi Jacob, yes indeed you can take great pictures of birds. But much patience is needed! Of course, a great lens is needed too. Sadly, I don't have a good telephoto lens. Am using just 250 mm focal length for now.
ReplyDeleteDragonfly
Oh! I didn't know that Old Dame Penniwig!! This one is a bird of prey!? WHOA!!!
ReplyDeleteI was about 20 feet away Gramma!
