Garden Lizard

Face of a garden lizard

There was a very unusual feeling photographing this magnificent reptile. Somehow, we felt as if this garden lizard came from nowhere and posed specifically for us. It was paranormal. Did you notice, it's looking into the camera lens in all the shots!?

  7. Sorry for scaring you Divsi. Getting these shots was quite based on luck. One minute, not luck! My wife spotted this lizard in a babul tree. It was just roaming in the collection of spines of the tree.

No worries. I'll see your photography art when you publish it.

  31. Thank you so much for visiting my blog! You must have known what a fan I am of India and all things Indian. I was to have been there now for my second trip in 12 years but my 85-year-old mother became ill in Georgia, 2500 miles from my San Francisco home and I had to spend three weeks there which disrupted my travel plans. I hope to get to Mumbai in Jan or Feb.

Incredible photography!!! I will follow your blog with great pleasure.

  39. Hey Carmen [RNSANE],

I didn't know that you're a great fan of India! Sad to know that your mom was not well and you could not visit India. I hope she's doing good now!!!

India is indeed a wonder. I see you're coming here in Jan/Feb. My brother-in-law conducts very rare tours of India. If you'd like to see his incredible visits, see his blog. See his business website also.

I'm gonna hire him for my Rajasthan [the largest, and the most beautiful state of India] tour in 2 weeks :) I'm very excited about the tour.

    Enjoy!

    Regards,
    Bhavesh Chhatbar

  40. This really very funny Kilauea!

Actually, I didn't take much pain in shooting this beauty. As it was shedding skin, perhaps it became slow in movements, and allowed me to shoot with comfort. I'm looking forward to your post!!
