Flying Seeds

When we went to Bhigwan and photographed Grey Heron, we went through the farms surrounding the lake created by the Ujani dam. After so many years, I saw an Ayurvedic medicine that we used to see in abundance in our childhood. Its name is Pankanis. The cotton-like stuff it is made of, is used as a blood-clotter in case of an injury. Now with the "so called" development of India, we have lost uncountable things that made real India. Now India is like just another country.

Well, that's not the topic of this post. I actually wanted to show the flying seeds Pankanis has. The seeds will fly miles and will spread the plant's future generations. I can only hope, probably in vein, that India will stop developing what other countries are developing, and will concentrate on the raw, real, beautiful itself, with things that are never seen anywhere else, already developed by the soil of this land.

Flying Seeds

Megha looks amazingly beautiful in this photograph. What say?

Flying Seeds

Fly, fly, my dear flying seeds. Prove yourself!

  1. I hope too, it is nice to be always original. We got flying seeds here, but usually they are weeds, something we call if we have too many lol. Anna :)
