Small Waterfall

The regular readers of this blog will recall that I visited Konkan 4-5 months back, and published a few posts also. Even if you are not a regular visitor here, there is a thing that I want all of you to see; it's this small waterfall. Our guest room [one of the only 3 rooms for guests in 7 hills] had an amazing view and a magical sound of water round the clock. To our surprise was this small waterfall nearby. The owner of the hills — Mr Joshi took us along with him one evening to show the many unexplored parts of the area, where there was a temple from the Ramayan era. Reaching to the temple had this view of very soothing yet full of mystery small waterfall. See the following photo of that small waterfall.

Small Waterfall

The mystery of the small waterfall was highly engaging. There was some unexplainable attraction in it that was actually calling us towards itself! The evening was about to turn into the darkness of the night. We somehow managed to resist the lure of the small waterfall and reached back in our guest room. Later was the time when we could only imagine seeing a tiger or a leopard over there in the night.

What do you feel seeing this small waterfall?

  1. What a lovely scene. I don't suppose it is close enough to actually hear the sound of the water. I would love that!!

  2. @ RNSANE: It is so silent an peaceful there that one can actually know the meaning of "pin drop silence". Hearing the sound of this small waterfall about 100 meters away was not difficult :)

    1. Sure! The location of the waterfall is here in this link. Once you reach there. You will have to ask someone if you don't see the small waterfall around.
