Beautiful yellow flower-bed of Bristly Smithia flowers [Smithia Setulosa, Motha Kawla, मोठा कवला]
A few days back, we went to the high cliffs of Varandha Ghat to photograph the panoramic view of multiple waterfalls pouring from the opposite cliffs kilometers away. On way, a scenic landscape caught our attention. It was irresistible to control the eager of pixeling the yellow beauty around.
The bloom of tiny Bristly Smithia flowers brings awesome color combination on earth every year for a short time of a few weeks. To be precise, the beautification is limited to the Western Ghats, if I'm not wrong. The blue sky, the bright white clouds seemingly from a cartoon story, the vibrant green of the grass post monsoon, and the striking yellow with tiny red dots on them of the duck-like looking Bristly Smithia, create stunning views.
A wire-tailed swallow bird [Hirundo smithii] perched on the bridge at Kavdi near Pune city. The evening enriched the colors of the bird.
The most beautiful sunset at Kavdi not only mesmerized us with its special luminosity, but also glittered the shades of the birds around us! Slowly, the sun set, and a wire-tailed swallow bird [scientifically named Hirundo smithii] shimmered in the twilight.

A lonely fallen tree in the midst of the desert of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan state of India. Look; it's still alive!
The sand was so pure that my shoes looked new again! Really, I'm not joking. I looked at my shoes, and then around; a tree caught my sight. It seemed to have been thrashed badly by the harsh landscape's reality, but was surviving as a legend. Look closely; it's still alive — it still has green leaves. The power of nature can be destructive. Contrarily, the creation of nature can outperform! Otherwise, this lonely tree in the midst of the desert of Jaisalmer could not be there.
The most beautiful sunset ever seen, at Kavdi
It's true; this probably is the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. We were at Kavdi a year or two back to photograph some migratory birds. We were so indulged in and taken by the whole atmosphere created by numerous species of birds that we did not realize that it was getting dark. As the sun started to set, nature began further beautifying the ambience. We sat silently on the bridge on the river at Kavdi watching the full scenic drama. The most mesmerizing visual moment was the scene pixelled in this photo.
Brown Rock Chat [Indian Chat, Cercomela fusca, Oenanthe fusca] is a native Indian bird of chat [Saxicolinae] sub-family under Muscicapidae family
We were in the haunted Bhangarh a couple of years back, when I saw a new bird that I had never seen before. It was brown, cute, little one. Surprisingly, it was so friendly, that with a 250 mm lens too I could photograph it so nicely. Slowly and cautiously, I inched forward closer and closer, and above photo is the best result I got at that time, of this small brown Indian bird that is named Brown Rock Chat.
