I can't believe that it is still a dream for me to photograph the beautiful natural chandeliers of Amaltas “in detail”. Some random shots from a distance, taken hurriedly, showing below. Even though these are distant photos, they are close to my heart. I just love this tree.
The scientific name of Amaltas is Cassia fistula. In the different parts of the world, it is known by different names. Some of those names are Garmalo, Bandar Lathi, Golden Shower Tree, Bahava, Sunari, Kritamala, Aragvadha, Chaturangula and Suvarnaka. The names are as beautiful as the flowers this tree produces. Just beautiful!
View from Sajjangad temple stay
Unlike what usually happens at temple-stay [dharamshala], our stay at Sajjangad fort was not horrible. It was an acceptable set-up considering that they were not charging anything for it. We did donate however.
The view from the bath area was just amazing! Here it is below. I hope you all like :)

Frank Kitts Park at Wellington [New Zealand]
Frank Kitts Park is a small yet beautiful park in the central business district of Wellington [New Zealand]. On one side is the beautiful Wellington Harbour, and on the other side is the money-line of the city: the CBD.
The Frank Kitts Park is quite unique. The park has an underground area where temporary markets find their place. Above is a step-design small garden. Beside is a tiny play area for children, and pedestrian accesses to the shore. A small walk/jogging/sitting open area at the waterfront is just beautiful on a sunny day. The turquoise water with clean sky and cold air make quite an invite. My kind of people who like to give a lot of time to admire things, can sit here for hours and do nothing, and just enjoy the peace and beauty around. Truly beautiful!
Here are some photos for you to enjoy. At the bottom of the post is an interactive location map, by Google. Enlarge it, zoom-in, zoom-out, pan it, take directions, and make it to have your visit :)

A beautiful single leaf standing out in the darkness of the forest
We were roaming in the beautiful forest of Tamhini when this single bright leaf caught my attention when everything else was dim. I think, this leaf has a lot to say and we people have a lot to learn!
Food Tasting, Review and Photographs of The Flying Saucer Sky Bar at Viman Nagar, Pune
Thank you Carpe Diem for inviting me to The Flying Saucer Sky Bar at Viman Nagar, Pune, for food tasting. Chef Nick Bajaj ensured that the presentation and the authenticity of the food he served matched the expectations of the food tasters. And hosts Shivangi and Carina ensured the comfort.

Coming directly to the review, I rate The Flying Saucer Sky Bar amongst the best restaurants in the city if you are looking for authentically made food in a variety of cuisines, sitting on top of the town with beautiful views of the city all around. It was dinner time, and the bright lights of the city in dusk added to the ambience.
We were served the below list, out of which I tasted vegetarian non-alcoholic servings…
Drinks:
Flaming Sauce Cocktail
Cinderella Mocktail
Safe Sex on the Beach Mocktail
Starters:
Mushroom and Parsley Croquettes
Chicken Tasha with Raw Tomato Salsa
Classic Stuffed Tandoori Mushrooms
Malaysian Pop Corn Chicken
Koliwada Prawns
Chicken Shawarma
Lot Veg. Pizza
Paneer Kali Miri Tikka
Chilly Cheese Poppers
Beijing Crispy Cheese Dumplings
Mains:
Butter Chicken
Dal Makhani
Veg. Biryani
Flying Roast Chicken
Caponata with Spiral Broccoli and Pine Nuts
Desserts:
Chocolate Butter Cake
Blueberry Cheese Cake
Chocolate Caramel Cake
Spanish Churros with Warm Chocolate
They displayed us The Fire and Ice / Flaming Sauce Cocktail from the bar. Here is the video…
Both the Mushroom starters: “Mushroom and Parsley Croquettes” and “Classic Stuffed Tandoori Mushrooms” were perfectly made.
The Lot Veg. Pizza also tasted delicious. The pizza being thin crust, I was a bit hesitant as I don’t like thin crust pizzas. However, it turned out to be quite tasty.
The Paneer Kali Miri Tikka had the perfect amount of marination. It is vital to have it in perfect proportion otherwise you will either just feel more paneer or more Kali Miri marination.
The star of the evening was Chilly Cheese Poppers. There was nothing that could have bet the delicacy. Brilliant I say.
Coming to the mains, I must say that Dal Makhani was true to its originality, and tasted heavenly.
The Veg. Biryani was not up to the mark as it did not taste any near how normally a Biryani is expected to taste.
The show-stealers in desserts were “Spanish Churros with Warm Chocolate” and “Blueberry Cheese Cake”
