Madness group of restaurants [Superheroes, SocialClinic Restobar and Donkey's Arse] at Koregaon Park in Pune
"Madness" is a group of 3 eateries:
SocialClinic Restobar: Hospital Themed Restaurant and Bar
Donkey's Arse: Comedy Club Bar
Superheroes: Superhero Themed Kids' Cafe
Thank you Carpe Diem for inviting me for a food tasting session at the Madness! And thank you hosts Pracey, Shivangi and Carina for ensuring that the event was well organised.

15000 square feet of spacious Madness is situated strategically in Koregaon Park. It is a new breed of restaurants.
Although I am not a medicine and hospital lover, I think people who are crazy about that, and those who want to see a really unexplored side of an eat-out theme in Pune will love SocialClinic Restobar.
A brilliant idea is to have a laughter club that serves alcohol and food. That is they have named Donkey's Arse!
And while the adults enjoy these 2 eateries, they can leave their children at the Rooftop Kids' Cafe - Superheroes. Even the grown-ups are crazy about super heroes!
We were served at the SocialClinic Restobar. It was the below list of drinks and food. I tasted the non-alcoholic and vegetarian ones :)
Drinks:
Strawberry Mocktail
Nashili Lambi Chai Cocktail
Beyond Your Expectations Cocktail
Last War Cocktail
Pepper Mary Cocktail
Sex in Havana Cocktail
Starters:
Mix Veg Coriander Dimsums
Chilli Garlic Mushrooms
Chicken and Prawn Gyozas
Kundan Mutton Seekh Kebabs
Lemon Cilantro Prawns
Murg Kali Mirch
Tofu Steak
House Spice Lamb Burger
Mains:
Methi Chaman
Lachchha Paratha
Nan
Roti
Desserts:
Gulab Jamun Brûlée
Spanish Churros
Sizzling Brownie
The food was really nice. The most I liked were:
- Methi Chaman, because of the perfect balance of spices creating a nice taste
- Spanish Churros, because of the moderate crunch
Spanish Churros, although tasted really well, needed a bit improvement in serving - the liquid chocolate came a few minutes late. But that seemed to be a one-off case at the time.

Wow, my head is spinning! So much to see and taste, though vicariously. Of course, while I wouldn't mind trying the mocktails, those with a little alcohol would be most pleasant and look really enticing and exotic. All the food is scrumptious...I wonder if it tastes as good as it looks. I am a great fan of dim sum and have eaten it all over the world. Since San Francisco is the largest Chinese settlement outside the Orient...or so we are told, dim sum is very popular here from about 10A to about 2P ( a little pricey ) but I REALLY like it and, of course, churros are very popular. We are so lucky to have such a multi ethnic community and, with that, the foods that go with it.
ReplyDeleteThe decor of these places is terrific. Your pictures are, too, Bhavesh!
It really tastes as good as it looks. Although I cannot comment on the non-vegetarian and alcoholic servings, the good goes with the other side :)
DeleteDim sums are my favourite too! Lucky you, you have so much of a variety. Actually, Indian food is extremely vast in variety. But having food from other parts of the world happifies the taste buds!
I'm glad that you like my photography Carmen! :)
So many mouthwatering photos!
