Lazy Bird

We went to Kavdi a couple of weeks back to photograph the migrating birds from Siberia. To our surprise, this cutie plover was showing its intelligence. Do you know that plovers are smart chaps? Don't worry; I too don't know :) But this one was indeed a smart fellow. It was resting ashore the river, seeing ducks and other birds enjoying the river water. But poor plovers probably cannot get into water. So it looked around and found a floating thermocol sheet. It flew and sat on it, using it as its boat, having a special ride and enjoying a new perspective of the beautiful scenery. Look closely at its expression…
