Humanity by a monkey [Humans can learn from this ape] - Weekend Fun
Note: I received the below photo in an email forward; seems that it's a scanned copy from a newspaper. It's not photographed by me. The copyright and credit of the photo remains with the original photographer. If you are the original photographer, please let me know; I'll very happily link back to you :)
It was mentioned in the email that 2 blind persons wanted to drink water at the RagiGudda temple, Bangalore, India. When they were unable to operate the tap, this mother monkey opened the tap for them, allowed them to drink water, drank some water herself and then closed the tap before leaving the scene.
Do share this with your friends and family. It is a proof that humanity does exist, even if we humans may have forgotten it ourselves…

Mayur Vatika of Jaipur - Night Ambience
Mayur Vatika is a square in Jaipur that is decorated with hand-made peacock statues. Now you must be wondering why I have posted a completely different scene instead of a peacock. It is because I went there at night. I will have to check the photo folder again to see if I took a photo of a peacock in such a low-light condition. For now, friends, enjoy the night ambience of the location. It's not just the collection of peacock statues that makes this place beautiful. It's a combination of several decorative items there. This bench and the brilliant lighting are examples of it. What do you say? Is it beautiful in your view too?

Shehnai Player Statue - Agroha, Hissar, Haryana, India
I was lucky to have been taken by a relative to a temple named Agroha that I could take the picture of this amazing craft. Agroha is located near Hissar city in Haryana state of India.
The artists who created the statue must have created it just as effortfully as the expressive efforts of the statue playing the shehnai. Look at the expression; it's so real! The efforts of the lungs and cheeks to play the flute-like instrument, are so well-crafted. Shehnai is an Indian instrument mostly used during rituals.

Reflections and shadows of dreams - Cat with shadow of wolf
Reflections and shadows of dreams - Dragonfly with shadow of dragon
Any guesses what this means? I didn't understand the meaning of this picture. Probably a dreamy reflection seen from a boat.

Reflections and shadows of dreams - Light aircraft casting shadow of a fighter plane
Now this one is the best. Reflections and shadows of dreams - Lonely man dreaming about being together

Portrait of a pigeon with groomed feathers and styled tail
Today morning, a pigeon sat on the terrace wall of the flat below. At the first look I couldn't find it any different than a street pigeon. "But was it really a common pigeon?", I asked myself. I came back and had a second look. The pigeon looked as if it had come from a parlor! Take a look. Do you see if its feathers are groomed? Look at the styled tail also :)

Photos of sparrows sitting on window grill — female and male sparrows
From my childhood, I have loved sparrows, probably because it was the most common bird in our home. When in Jaipur a couple of weeks back, I was able to photograph the house sparrows. I was so happy with the moment :)
Tell me, do you like these photos? :)

Tamhini ghat - A collection of heart shaped leaves
Wo! There was a bunch of it lying on the floor!! The places of the western ghats are mesmerizing. These heart shaped leaves are just as amazing as the water drops in Tamhini ghat. What do you say?

नीलगाय, नीलगाउ, Nilgai, Nilgau, Blue Bull, Boselaphus Tragocamelus seen on way to Khatu Shyamji Temple
Last December, when we were traveling from Jaipur to Khatu Shyamji Temple, we were astonished by the sight of a neelgai — a large antelope found in most of the wild areas of middle and north India. I was able to take its photo from the car.
Neelgai has several names given to it. Some of them are…
Boselaphus Tragocamelus [scientific name], नीलगाउ, नीलगाय, Blue Bull, Nilgau, Nilgai
